Otún Lake

Visit one of the latest glaciers of the very Colombian central Andes. Visiting Otún Lake, the biggest one of the Snowy Park and place where the equally named river is born, and that marks the descent between these tough mountains. The tour begins in the Plaza de Bolivar in Pereira at 4:00 a.m (transport TO the Plaza non included). You board a 4x4 truck and climb up until reaching the 4.100 meters above sea level (13.450 ft.). You’ll get to a curious village called Potosí, from where you’ll start a 3-hours promenade. This tour is recommended for anyone who looks forward to have a moor experience but with a low demanding level. At the end of the day, you’ll be taken back to the Plaza de Bolivar in Pereira.
NOTE: Kids under 6 years old CAN NOT be part of the experience.
