Guardians of biodiversity in the Andean region, the Botanical Garden of Quindio has spent decades protecting some of the most endangered species of the region. By walking its paths, and accompanied by a local guide (Heritage interpretation), you’ll be impressed by the high trees, the diversity of palms, flowers and colors of the forest. Climb to its observation tower, understand the structure of trees and their canopy, the place where life is expressed in the woods. Feel the birdsong and go out to look for them among the foliage. Get into the butterfly house, where hundreds of butterflies express their beauty with shapes and colors. Watch carefully, because one of them will land near you for revealing details you've never seen before
