Day 1: Welcome, Coffee Tour Overlooking Pereira.

Duration: Approx. 5 hours.

Arrival in Pereira, welcome and assistance with your transfer to the hotel. Depending on your flight arrival time, you will either go to the hotel or transfer directly to lunch and begin the coffee tour.

In Pereira, we'll take you on a journey through the history of the world's finest mild coffee in Colombia's Coffee Cultural Landscape. Experience the best coffee, from seed to cup, with an authentic coffee-growing family in one of the region's most beautiful landscapes. Gentle paths through coffee plantations will lead you to understand the best-kept secrets of coffee growers, told by a family that has been producing the beans for three generations, sharing the soul of coffee in a real-life story. From the village of Altagracia, we'll see picture-perfect landscapes. You finish the experience by stimulating the senses, to perceive those flavors that differentiate and highlight the quality of Colombian coffee, achieved thanks to the work of master roasters, tasters and baristas.


Day 2: The Charm of the Andes, Cocora Valley, Salento, and Filandia

Experience this journey to witness the perfect harmony between nature, culture, and tradition. In the heart of the Coffee Cultural Landscape, the towns of Salento and Filandia reveal the colorful soul of the Andes, where architecture, landscape, and people blend seamlessly into a rhythm of life.

The morning begins among the tallest wax palms on the planet, in the majestic Cocora Valley. Walking its trails is like entering a sanctuary of mist and silence, where earth and sky merge amidst hummingbirds and mountains. Later, the streets of Salento invite you to discover its vibrant architecture: wooden balconies, doors of a thousand colors, and viewpoints that frame the endless green of mountains and coffee plantations.

After a lunch of traditional cuisine, the route continues to Filandia, "the daughter of the Andes," where charm transforms into art. Here, the wattle and daub construction and the weaving of rattan tell the stories of a people who have made traditional basketry their symbol of identity and respect for the cultural heritage of the region.


Day 3: Marsella, Chocolate and Ancestral Knowledge Tour

Experience the Marsella Chocolate and Ancestral Knowledge Tour and discover the sweetness of the land that flourishes among mountains and coffee plantations, where cacao becomes a symbol of culture, memory, and transformation.

The journey begins by traveling through the mountains that lead to Marsella, one of the most charming towns in the Coffee Cultural Landscape. Its main square, its imposing cultural center, and its colorful facades reveal the authenticity of a community that has preserved its living history.

Among viewpoints that look like postcards, visitors arrive at an organic cacao farm, where they learn that each fruit holds the soul of the forest. Walking among the trees, tasting the sweet cacao mucilage, and mixing it with local fruits and aromas awakens the senses and allows one to understand the bounty of the land.

The traditional Colombian lunch, prepared with local produce, invites you to savor the unhurried pace of rural life. Then, the traveler becomes a flavor artisan, roasting, grinding, and melting cacao until it transforms into a delicious cream or beverage. In this act, the visitor understands that creating is also a way of giving thanks.

The day culminates with a stroll through the streets of Marsella, as the sunset paints the coffee-growing mountains in gold.


Day 4: Rafting on the La Vieja River.

Quimbaya, Quindío.

You are in the central Andes of Colombia, where some rivers carry water flowing down from the glaciers and cloud forests in the mountains. On this tour, we travel along the La Vieja River as the ancient Quimbaya people did, navigating on rafts made of guadua, a type of bamboo that has been called vegetable steel. The rafts feature the latest technological advancements that human ingenuity has achieved to guarantee safe navigation as you descend the river, enjoying the tranquility of the current and the excitement of small rapids. Discover details of the bamboo grove ecosystem and enjoy a refreshing waterfall. On the riverbank, we'll have a picnic lunch, savoring the flavors of this region under the cool shade of the bamboo groves.


Day 5: Farewell. Transfer to Matecaña International Airport in Pereira.
